Working With Realtor Explained

REALTORS® are governed by legal concept of “agency”. An agent is legally obligated to look after the best interest of the person for whom he/she is working. The agent must be loyal to that person.

There are two levels of services a REALTOR® can offer:

Client services: When a written Buyer Representation Agreement has been signed authorizing the REALTOR® to act on that person’s behalf.

OR

Customer service: When a written Customer Services Agreement confirms that the REALTOR® is representing the interest of the seller.

There is no cost to you to establish an agency relationship with your REALTOR® and it enables all parties to proceed with the guidelines of loyalty clearly established.
